Deputy principals for educational work at secondary schools in the town and district, social educators, and heads of inter-school methodological associations met at the district center for children and youth to discuss cases of destructive behavior among students. The training was conducted by representatives of the education department of the district executive committee, the district educational and methodological office, as well as the head of the juvenile affairs inspectorate of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs, Anatoly Burmistrov.
As was noted, facts of destructive behavior among children and adolescents, unfortunately, occur in the practice of Lepel educators. As an example, cases of minors using extremist phrases, inscriptions, logos, and abbreviations were cited. Sometimes, after writing something prohibited, for instance, in the corner of a notebook, children do not even realize the consequences it may lead to. Often, such behavior is manifested by schoolchildren who have fallen under the influence of extremist groups in social networks and messengers.
Recommendations for educators and parents include being extremely attentive to what children say and write, discussing with adolescents the responsibility for using extremist materials, and paying more attention to the themes of patriotism, national values, and Belarusian legislation.
