The XV Easter District Educational Readings were held in Lepel.

The event commenced with a prayer service at the Church of the Nativity of Christ. The prayer service was officiated by the dean of the Lepel district, Archpriest Sergey Leshkevich, followed by a procession from the Church of the Nativity of Christ to the Church of St. George the Victorious and back to the Church of the Nativity of Christ.

As part of the readings, an exhibition of fine arts and decorative and applied arts was organized in the foyer of the district House of Culture (as part of the district stage of the regional competition of artistic creativity "Easter Mosaic"). The children's works were a delight to behold: miniature versions of churches, decorated willow branches, and other symbols of Easter.

The chairman of the district Council of Deputies, Igor Urban, addressed the participants of the event with a solemn greeting. Then, the deputy head of the education department of the district executive committee, Oksana Lyasun, spoke about the progress of the event.

Igor Gennadievich noted that Easter traditions have always brought families, peoples, and even countries closer together. Our district Easter readings also possess a unifying force, and they occupy a significant place in the cultural life of the district, attracting ever-increasing interest each year.

At the Easter readings, teachers from general education schools in Lepel and the Lepel district delivered reports, which were listened to with interest by the audience. For instance, Victoria Kiriy, deputy director for educational work at the Zaslonovskaya Secondary School of the Lepel District, spoke on the topic "Our world blossoms like a garden when a child's soul blossoms."

Vera Malinovskaya, a teacher at the Borovskaya Secondary School named after G.K. Zhukov of the Lepel District, spoke about the role of the family in preserving and passing on spiritual values.
The traditions of domestic pedagogy in fostering spirituality is the topic of the presentation by Larisa Bulakh, a teacher of Russian language and literature at the Polsvizh Basic School named after N.N. Tomashevich of the Lepel District.
Alexander Leshkevich, an 11th-grade student of Secondary School No. 1 in Lepel, spoke on the topic of spirituality in youth culture.

After the speakers' presentations, pupils from educational institutions in the city of Lepel and the Lepel district presented a festive performance.

For example, the Polsvizh Basic School named after N.N. Tomashevich of the Lepel District prepared a video titled "We Celebrate Easter." Valeria Sidorova from the Borovskaya Secondary School recited the poem "Forgiveness Sunday."
Students from the "Young Local Historian" club from the Stayskaya Secondary School of the Lepel District prepared an interesting performance.

The song "Vstanem" was performed by Daniil Markus, a student of Secondary School No. 1 of Lepel, the song "Let an Angel Come to Me" by the trio "Prygajosc" from the District Center for Children and Youth, the song "With the Victorious Anthem" by Ezerskaya Polina and the choreographic ensemble "Mozaika" of the I.M. Erashov Gymnasium of Lepel, and the song "Do Good" by the vocal group "Zhuravinka" of the Domzheritsy Basic School of Lepel District.

Also on this day, further ways of cooperation between the district authorities and the Church in the common cause of patriotic education of schoolchildren were outlined.

At the conclusion of the Easter Readings, the dean of the Lepel district, Archpriest Sergey Leshkevich, presented all participants with certificates of participation.
