A field meeting of the regional executive committee was held in Lepel.

The meeting was attended by Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Subbotin, Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Vladimir Terentyev, Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, and Anatoly Linevich, Aide to the President – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region.

The Head of the region, Alexander Subbotin, emphasised that the issues on the agenda are relevant. The housing construction topic causes some concern: targets for its commissioning are not being met in many regions of the oblast. There are also shortcomings at the agricultural enterprises of the Lepel district, where order needs to be established. Today there will be an opportunity to see how the deficiencies pointed out a week ago are being rectified.

Alexander Subbotin stressed that all funds allocated for construction must be fully utilised.

Alexander Shidlovsky, Chairman of the Committee for Architecture and Construction of the Regional Executive Committee, will report on the fulfilment of the 2022 targets for the construction and commissioning of total residential building area.

Yuri Dyadyolo, Head of the Main Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Regional Executive Committee, will report on the progress of the State Programme "Comfortable Housing and a Conducive Environment" for 2021–2025 in the Vitebsk Region.

Sergey Egorov, Chairman of the Committee for Agriculture and Food of the Regional Executive Committee, will talk about the readiness of the region's agricultural organisations for winter stall housing of cattle.

Participants of the field meeting will visit the SPK "Zaozerie" dairy breeding complex in the Lepel district to familiarise themselves with the technology of keeping calves up to two months old in individual cage-houses under a canopy. At the MTF "Lyadno" of OJSC "Lepelagroservice", they will observe the preparation of livestock premises for winter stall housing.
