As part of Entrepreneurship Week, an expanded meeting of the District Council for Entrepreneurship Development was held at the Lepel District Executive Committee. The meeting was attended by council members, representatives of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus for the Lepel District, banks, and structural divisions of the District Executive Committee.

The attendees were welcomed by Veronika Khombak, Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, who also encouraged active feedback from the participants. Such meetings should be held in a dialogue format, as this is the most effective form of work.

The main issues and statistics were presented by Tatyana Dudo, Chief Specialist of the Economics Department of the District Executive Committee. The key topics of the meeting concerned the conditions for the development of entrepreneurial activity in the district, current problems of business operations, and further avenues of cooperation between individual entrepreneurs, the tax inspectorate, banks, and local authorities.

The issue of unused real estate objects was also addressed. Information on unused real estate objects can be found on the official website of the Lepel District Executive Committee.

The involvement of the younger generation in business and state support for innovative ideas were also among the issues discussed.

Elena Vashkevich, a specialist from the banking services center 211 of OJSC "ASB Belarusbank" in Lepel, spoke about the advantages of servicing and special offers from OJSC "ASB Belarusbank". She explained that cash and settlement services for business entities are typically provided within the framework of package servicing. All service packages for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs are developed taking into account the needs and scale of the business.

A suitable package can be selected and the full list of services included in the package can be found on the official website of the Bank at https://belarusbank.by

Belarusbank offers business loans for both current and investment activities. The bank has developed a wide range of credit products: "Youth Business" for youth initiatives, "Business Brilliant" for women's entrepreneurship, and "Regional Business Support" for SMEs registered in settlements with a population of up to 20,000 people.

The Belarusbank "Regional Initiative" loan at an annual interest rate of 8% will enable economic entities to implement investment projects significant for the socio-economic development of our region.

The Head of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus for Lepel District, Maya Borodich, noted that those present in the hall are conscientious taxpayers and reminded them of the amendments and additions to the Tax Code in recent years.

By the way, 706 small and medium-sized enterprises (168 organizations and 538 individual entrepreneurs) are registered in our district.

Maya Anatolyevna also reminded that any legal entity or individual entrepreneur engaged in retail trade must use a cash register.

The subtleties of the "seamless transition" of an individual entrepreneur to the status of a legal entity within the competence of the tax authorities were also touched upon. Entrepreneurs received detailed explanations on the algorithm for re-registration as a legal entity, as well as answers to their questions. For reference, 11 individual entrepreneurs in Lepel District have used the "seamless" transition.

Among the problems, representatives of private businesses pointed out the poor performance of cash registers, asked for clarification on the carrier's obligations when transporting goods, document retention periods, and other issues.

In conclusion, Sergey Demko, Director of the limited liability company "Master-SHIK" and Deputy Chairman of the Council, noted that holding such meetings is a good opportunity to discuss existing issues and determine ways to resolve them.
