In Lepel, rescuers retrieved a wild goat that had fallen through the ice from an ice-hole.

Upon arrival, the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees used a rescue board and ropes to extract the animal from the ice-hole and handed it over to the district veterinary station for further examination.

As the local resident recounted, while on his household plot, he noticed the animal fall through the ice and be unable to get out, and therefore called the rescuers.
