- Historical and local lore work is currently being carried out with dignity in all our schools, centres, and kindergartens. Nevertheless, the museum is rightfully the main figure in all this activity. Everything that is here today is our history, a history that we are writing ourselves.
Your direct participation is also required now, during the creation of the new "School Museum" exhibition. Everything you, dear colleagues, share will become heritage. And therefore, it will be something that will never be forgotten, never lost," said Viktor Azarenok, Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, addressing the attendees.
Viktor Vladimirovich also lifted the veil of secrecy and spoke a little about what the new exhibition would represent. The hall will feature a wooden school desk with an interactive panel built into its surface. The informational "content" of this screen will be precisely what the people of Lepel will share – photographs, stories of school origins, lists of famous graduates, unique educational documents, and so on.
Thus, the education system of our district will systematise its historical heritage and hand it over to reliable hands. And educators will gain confidence that they will not be forgotten, that they will be remembered by future generations in tens, or perhaps hundreds, of years.
In addition, the exhibition will include interesting items of school life. This could be school uniforms, satchels, shoes, notebooks, textbooks, and much more.
- I would like the new hall to be created with soul. So that, when visiting it, a person immerses themselves in that era, that atmosphere, when they themselves or their parents were still children. Let's not be indifferent and together let's write this page into the chronicle of the district," added Viktor Vladimirovich.
