The event was attended by Dmitry Sergeevich Kuznetsov, Head of the Department for Organisation of Population Training and Professional Development of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the leadership of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, unit personnel, and other invited guests.

The main topic of the discussion was "Ensuring military security as a crucial factor in the development of the Republic of Belarus in modern conditions."

"Peace and security rightfully hold a leading position in the system of fundamental human values!" commented Dmitry Kuznetsov. The issue of discipline and order observance by Ministry of Emergency Situations employees was also addressed.

Within the framework of this meeting, Vadim Nikolaevich Sedin, Senior State Automobile Inspector of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs, acquainted everyone with the amendments and additions to the traffic regulations that have entered into force, presented statistics on road traffic accidents and fatalities, and reminded both motorists and pedestrians about the importance of observing traffic rules. He also highlighted the highly relevant issue of the necessity of timely state technical inspection and the administrative liability for its absence.

Sergey Egorovich Zakharevich, Head of the Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora, provided information on the amendments made to the Rules for Hunting and Game Management, as well as Fishing and Fishery Management.

At the conclusion of the event, a film was shown to the department's employees about important socio-political events that occurred in the Republic of Belarus over the past month, as well as activities of the rescue department.
