A Unified Information Day was held at the Lepel unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations

On May 18, a Unified Information Day was held in the assembly hall of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations. The event was attended by Dmitry Vladimirovich Andronov, Head of the Internal Security Sector of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the leadership of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, unit personnel, and other invited guests.

The focus of the event was a topic of importance to every citizen of our country – "Historical Memory of the Great Patriotic War as a Factor in the Formation of Patriotism."

"Peace and security rightfully hold a leading position in the system of fundamental human values!" commented Dmitry Vladimirovich. The issue of discipline and order observance by Ministry of Emergency Situations employees was also addressed.

Within the framework of this meeting, Moliavko Andrey Vasilievich, Operative Officer of the Department for Combating Drug Addiction and Human Trafficking of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs, provided information on liability for the purchase, storage, distribution, and transportation of psychotropic and narcotic substances.

Azaryonok Ivan Mikhailovich, Senior Operative Officer of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs, provided information on liability for offences in the sphere of economic crimes.

At the conclusion of the event, a video film was shown to the department employees about important socio-political events that occurred in the Republic of Belarus over the past month, as well as activities of the rescue department.
