The "Filter" campaign was held in Lepel district

Last weekend, traffic police officers intensified road safety controls. Primarily, State Automobile Inspectorate officers identified and removed intoxicated drivers and drivers without licenses from traffic.

Attention was paid to compliance with rules for entering oncoming lanes and passing pedestrian crossings. Motorcyclists, cyclists, and pedestrians were not overlooked.
For the operation, the 124th kilometre of the Bogushevsk-Senno-Lepel-Myadel highway was designated, where an OGAI (State Automobile Inspectorate Department) post of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs operated from 07:00 to 09:00.
During the event, 12 traffic violations were detected.
The traffic police strongly recommend that drivers be extremely attentive in the traffic flow on rural roads. When driving, one should choose a safe speed and refrain from reckless overtaking. It is imperative to fasten seat belts, and children should be transported in special restraint devices.
