THE VII OPEN REGIONAL INTELLECTUAL TOURNAMENT WAS HELD IN LEPEL DISTRICT

The tournament was traditionally organised by the school administration and the intellectual club "IQ2" led by its permanent head Evgenia Yeritsyan, a teacher of history and social studies.

The tournament was opened by the school principal, Dianna Mysina. She welcomed everyone present, introduced the teams from Vitebsk and Borisov, who are participating in our tournament for the first time, and wished everyone an interesting and engaging game. Dianna Anatolyevna also thanked the tournament sponsors – the "Lepel MKC" branch of OJSC "Vitebsk Meat Packing Plant" for the sweet prizes provided to all players and coaches.

Eighteen teams from Polotsk, Vitebsk, Novopolotsk, Gorodok, Lepel, and the city of Borisov gathered to compete for the title of the best intellectual in the region. The tournament was hosted by Diana Yeritsyan, a former member of the school's intellectual club. We are pleased that graduates of Borovskaya Secondary School participated in the organisation of this important event, not only for the club but also for the school – a truly worthy succession of generations.

The tournament was very eventful. Three games were held: "Media Alphabet", "Own Game", and "What? Where? When?".

We are grateful to all the teams and coaches who supported the tournament. We express our special thanks to Sergey Krasovsky (coach from Polotsk), Anatoly Voylokov (coach from Gorodok), Andrey Kushnir, and Yuliana Chesnokova (former member of the intellectual club) for their invaluable assistance in the work of the jury and the summing up of the results!

In the "Media Alphabet" game:

3rd place – "Accomplices" (Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 4 of Novopolotsk").

In the "Own Game" game:
