From April 10 to April 28, events within the framework of the republican fire prevention campaign "For Safety Together!" will be held in the Lepel district.

The aim of the campaign is to reduce the number of fires occurring in residential buildings due to non-compliance with fire safety regulations, to increase public awareness of the capabilities of state organizations in providing services in the field of fire safety, to strengthen law and order, and to prevent offences committed by citizens while intoxicated.
Within the framework of the campaign, preventive measures will be taken in the Lepel district to prevent fires and deaths from them in the housing stock. Representatives of the internal affairs bodies, housing and communal services, energy services, healthcare, social services, education, and mass media will also participate in the campaign. The focus will be on inspecting the fire safety condition of households belonging to citizens in need of additional social protection, conducting instructional and explanatory work with them on compliance with fire safety regulations, and informing the public about the capabilities of state organizations in providing services to ensure their safety. Please remember that in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, the responsibility for compliance with fire safety requirements in residential buildings owned by citizens under private property rights rests with their owners.
We invite all residents of the Lepel region to participate in the campaign to make their homes safe. Pay attention to the proper functioning of heating equipment and electrical wiring, check the operability of autonomous fire alarms, and if they are absent, install them in the living quarters of households. Provide assistance in bringing dwellings into a fire-safe condition to your elderly relatives and acquaintances.

Every resident of the district can contact the district department for emergency situations to inspect their housing for compliance with fire safety regulations and receive recommendations from rescuers.
