The event is distinguished by the fact that the exhibition has been running for over thirty years. Launched in 1993, it has become a platform for showcasing the works of not only established masters of painting but also a unique starting point for several generations of amateur artists.

The exhibition features 51 paintings by 16 artists from Lepel. Over the entire period, more than a thousand paintings have been displayed.

Throughout its significant artistic journey, "Farby Lepelshchyny" (Colours of Lepel Region) has evolved into a meeting place not only for artists and craftspeople working with clay and wood but also for the residents of Lepel who appreciate beauty. This particular day brought together exhibition participants and numerous guests in the museum's exhibition hall.

Olga Alexandrovich, Chief Specialist of the Culture Sector of the District Executive Committee, addressed the attendees with a welcoming speech. She wished all artists creative inspiration and success, and also noted that by contemplating the presented canvases, viewers would have the opportunity to notice the beauty in the surrounding world.

Alina Stelmah, the museum director who was instrumental in initiating this project, addressed the audience, along with both experienced and young participants.

The event was imbued with warmth by a performance from the exemplary children's choir "Akvarel" (Watercolour) of the Lepel Children's Art School.
