The reporting meeting of cultural workers on the results of the past year and tasks for 2025 was held at the Lepel Children's Art School.

Elena Borodeiko, Head of the Culture Sector of the District Executive Committee, reported on the performance of cultural institutions and future development tasks.

Cultural services for the population of Lepel District are provided by 34 state cultural institutions. The number of employees in the district's culture sector in 2024 was 268 people. Last year, 5 young specialists joined the sector, 4 of them to the Lepel Children's Art School, and 1 to the State Cultural Institution "Lepel Centralized Library System".

There are 24 groups in the district holding the titles of "People's" and "Exemplary", and 2 groups are "Honoured" collectives of the Republic of Belarus. In 2024, 6 collectives had their titles reconfirmed. Over the year, 4400 events were held.
