"Using tracking sensors installed on tractor engines, we will monitor ploughing online, i.e., soil preparation for sowing winter crops. The program will be installed on computers on July 24, so in the near future, we will be able to personally track the work of each district of the region directly from Minsk," said Vasily Sysoyev.
According to him, the sensors will allow for an analysis of tractor load, an assessment of its performance, noting how many hours it was in the field, what volume of work was completed, and whether there were any downtimes or unauthorised fuel drainage.
The implementation of this innovation became possible due to the arrival of new tractors in the region's farms: a total of 150 are planned for purchase, of which 44 have already been delivered to the farmers.
Also, this year the region's grain harvesting machinery fleet will be replenished with 150 nine-furrow reversible ploughs (9 of which are already at the enterprises). This year, 64 new forage harvesters and 100 grain harvesters have arrived in the region.
