In bad weather, exercise caution on the roads!

Today, short-term precipitation in the form of sleet and rain is forecast across the country. Combined with temperatures around zero, ice formation is possible.

In adverse weather conditions, reduce your speed and increase your following distance. To maintain control of your vehicle, all driver actions should be smooth.

Please note: operating a vehicle not equipped with winter tires or with tread wear exceeding the maximum permissible limit is PROHIBITED.

Exercise particular caution when driving through pedestrian crossings, bridges, road curves, inclines and declines, and open, windswept areas. Turn on your headlights to be more visible to other road users.

All occupants of the vehicle must wear seat belts, and children must be transported in special restraint systems, secured according to instructions!

It is important for pedestrians to remember that a vehicle cannot be stopped instantly, especially on slippery surfaces. You must cross the road only in designated areas and only after ensuring that all vehicles have managed to stop.

In bad weather, wear high-visibility clothing. In the dark, it is MANDATORY to make yourself visible with reflective elements, especially when walking on the shoulder or the edge of the roadway. Do not use headphones so that you can hear approaching traffic.
