Open Joint Stock Company "Vityaz" has produced its 500,000th television set since the beginning of the year. This production volume for this product has been achieved by the enterprise for the first time since 2006, when it still produced cathode-ray tube televisions.
Currently, televisions account for almost 80 percent of the total output produced by "Vityaz". They are assembled on three conveyor lines. The newest assembly line for checking 32-65 inch television sets with a packaging line was commissioned in 2021, which made it possible to organise the production of televisions with screen sizes over 43 inches and SMART TVs in large quantities. This contributed to "Vityaz" producing 477,000 televisions last year, and this year it has managed to break this record. In 2022, new models were released under the SBER and DEXP trademarks.

— Despite the fact that the year started off difficultly, we overcame all the challenges, — said the General Director of the enterprise, Gennady Azarov. — Currently, we are working at full capacity, which has allowed us to produce 500,000 televisions. This is a significant figure, and we are proud of it.

The main export "television" market for the enterprise is the Russian Federation, and televisions produced by the Vitebsk television plant are in high demand among people there. The enterprise is proud that "Vityaz" is essentially a people's brand in the neighbouring country. Just imagine how many Russians will welcome the upcoming New Year to the chiming of the clock, broadcast by the Vitebsk televisions they purchased!

In 2023, it is planned to produce products of nine brands, including about a hundred models.
