A plenary session of participants of the first regional forum "Local Self-Government in the Vitebsk Region: A Common Cause. Dialogue about the Future" was held at the regional executive committee.

With a welcoming address to the deputies of local Councils, the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Igor Sergeenko spoke.

The Chairman of the Orsha District Council of Deputies Inna Khomutovskaya, the Chairman of the Druya Village Council Anna Belyun, and the Chairman of the Ushachi District Council Natalia Markovich shared their experience of working in their territories. The Chairman of the Youth Parliament under the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, Olga Mlyavaya, spoke about its activities.

Our compatriots – representatives of the deputy corps and public associations – are also taking part in the forum.
