Together with the teams of young traffic inspectors, a series of campaigns aimed at preventing road traffic accidents were carried out.
During the event in the district, the State Automobile Inspectorate officers suppressed 62 instances of drivers operating vehicles without switching on low beam headlights, 8 drivers were brought to justice for violating the rules of child transportation, 6 drivers were brought to justice for failing to yield to pedestrians at designated pedestrian crossings, and 1 driver was brought to justice for driving under the influence of alcohol.
No road traffic accidents involving children were registered in the Lepel district.
