During the summer holidays, the number of road traffic accidents involving minors is increasing.

This is due to both increased activity in transporting children from recreation areas by private vehicles and as part of organised groups, as well as the large amount of free time they have and lack of adult supervision.

To ensure safety and eliminate the causes and conditions of child road traffic injuries, the State Automobile Inspectorate will conduct a republican preventive campaign to prevent road traffic accidents involving minors from June 15 to August 15, titled "Children are Safe in Summer!".
