The youth campaign "The Earth is warmed by your warmth, Mom!" starts today. More than 200 students from secondary vocational and vocational-technical educational institutions of the city and Polotsk district, who live far from their parents, will take part in the event dedicated to Mother's Day. The children will congratulate their mothers with letters, in which they will express their warmest wishes, words of love and gratitude. Marked envelopes with the holiday logo have been distributed among the children. Within a few days, just in time for the holiday, the letters will reach their recipients.
"The easiest and fastest way to congratulate the right person, wherever they may be, is by phone. Today, we all do this. But the relevance of a paper letter has not disappeared anywhere. Anyone would be pleased to receive such a message, to feel the excitement when opening the envelope, to re-read the touching lines written by the hand of a dear person," the district executive committee emphasized.
The campaign is supported by the Polotsk District Executive Committee and the district post office of the Vitebsk branch of RUE "Belpochta".
