On December 12, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. The death of livestock was attempted to be concealed in the Polotsk district, BelTA was informed by the press service of the Committee for State Control of Belarus.
During an inspection of the agricultural enterprise "Ostrovshchina" in the Polotsk district, specialists from the Polotsk Inter-district Committee for State Control uncovered a scheme of fictitious sales of young cattle to employees of this farm.
To conceal the facts of livestock death, the managers of the farms "Ostrovshchina", "Shpakovshchina", "Polyudovichi", and "Litvinovo" allegedly sold the animals to their employees. The farm employees themselves had no idea that they were purchasing young cattle. They were credited with financial remuneration (which the farm employees were unaware of), which was subsequently withheld.
The inspection revealed that the farm managers independently drew up acts with the aim of concealing livestock deaths and avoiding disciplinary and financial liability. These actions led to the distortion of actual data on animal deaths on the farm.
In total, at the "Ostrovshchina" enterprise, the farm managers drew up 30 primary accounting documents with deliberately false information entered therein regarding the sale of 30 heads of young cattle weighing a total of 1032 kg for approximately Br9 million (including Br5.9 million against material assistance).
Based on the materials of the inspection conducted, two criminal cases have been initiated. -0-
