Ahead of the most crucial period for agricultural workers – the harvest campaign – the Chairperson of the Lepel District Trade Union Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Agricultural Industry Workers, Natalia Monchik, is conducting monitoring in agricultural enterprises.

The main goal is to assess the readiness of enterprises for the upcoming harvest and to control the creation of safe working conditions for employees.

"During the period of intensive fieldwork, the risks to the health of agricultural workers increase many times over. That is precisely why, during my visits, I pay close attention to a whole range of issues. I assess the technical condition of the machinery and equipment that will be used during the harvest, compliance with labor protection requirements during their repair now and preparation for admission, as well as general readiness for work during the peak season," notes Natalya Erikasovna.
