Under the terms of the contract, the employee determines the rate of their own contributions (from 1% to 10% of their salary): for rates from 1% to 3%, the employer is obliged to contribute a proportional amount; for a rate of 4% or higher, the employer invariably contributes 3%. — Additional pension insurance is an excellent opportunity to take care of one's own financial well-being in retirement, to maintain the usual standard of living after ceasing employment. It is pleasing that pension insurance opportunities are also expanding, — noted Sergey Andrievich.
As for the Vitebsk region, statistics on additional funded pension insurance indicate the following results: as of March 15 of the current year, 1925 insurance contracts had been concluded. The 6% rate (3+3) is particularly popular among residents of the Vitebsk region — it was chosen by 74% of citizens who concluded contracts. The 2% rate (1+1) is in second place — 10%. Other popular rates were 4% (2+2) and 8% (5+3) — their share of the total number of concluded insurance contracts was 7% and 6% respectively. In almost six months, it has become evident that women conclude insurance contracts more often: they account for 67% of contracts, while men do so twice as infrequently — 33%. Almost half of all those who concluded contracts are people aged between 48 and 57 years. At this stage, only 16% of contracts have been concluded by citizens online, while the majority preferred to do so in the traditional way — at the office.
