As part of the unified information day, the Chairman of the Lepel District Council of Deputies, Igor Urban, held a meeting with the staff of the Military Commissariat of Lepel and Ushachi Districts.

The key topic was the provisions of the Address by the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.

The focus of the discussion was the results of the past five-year period, where economic stability, technological sovereignty, and energy independence were named the foundation of national security.

"A strong economy, decent incomes for citizens, and effective employment are the basis of social stability and, consequently, state security," Igor Urban emphasized in his speech.

Strengthening the economy, developing high technologies, and supporting a strong real sector directly contribute to ensuring military security. The work of military commissariats, responsible for mobilization readiness and the protection of sovereignty at the local level, was noted as one of the key tasks.
