As part of the Year of Improvement, a labour brigade set out today to tidy up the cemetery grounds and the Church of Saint George the Victorious.

Among the activists were representatives of the district organization of the Republican Party of Labour and Justice, led by Chairperson Alesya Erashova, the BRSM Youth Union regional committee, and employees of the private unitary enterprise "Maleev-Service" along with Director Ilya Maleev, who is also a party member.

Furthermore, Yevgeny Podyachev, a member of the Party of Labour and Justice and director of the private unitary enterprise "LepelVodStroy," provided sponsorship for construction materials. Tatyana Strizhenok, chairperson of the primary trade union organization of the Centre for ensuring the activities of budget organizations of the Lepel district, presented Father Sergiy Leshkevich, благочинный of the Lepel district, with a gift certificate worth 100 rubles for construction materials.

Father Sergiy spoke about the Church of Saint George the Victorious and the history of many significant burials.
