As part of the unified information day, Dmitry Demidov, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, and Igor Urban, Chairman of the District Council of Deputies, met with the staff of the Lepel MKC branch of Vitebsk Meat Processing Plant OJSC.

The main theme of the meeting is "Education and Science – Driving Forces for the Development of Society and the State".

- The training of highly qualified personnel is the main priority for the development of our country. And investments in science are a key condition for economic stability. But ultimately, the main asset of our country is our people, whose dedication and hard work are raising the country to a qualitatively new level of development, — noted Dmitry Vladimirovich in his speech.

By the way, in Belarus, everyone has the opportunity to realize themselves not only in science and production but also in public activities. As is known, Dmitry Demidov heads the regional organization of the republican public association "Belaya Rus". Today it unites over 19.8 thousand residents of the region. There are 927 primary organizations in operation.

Also, the MCC staff had the opportunity to ask questions of interest, including a complaint about poor MTS communication on Vitebskaya Street, and the absence of a permanent retail outlet in the Belenitsa district. A question was also asked about whether "Dozhinki" is planned to be held in Lepel district. All raised issues have been taken under the control of the head of the regional parliamentary corps.
