As part of the republican preventive campaign "A Home Without Violence!", a preventive event was held at the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs with individuals who committed domestic violence.

The attendees heard from Dmitry Arzhanyk, First Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Affairs – Head of Public Security Police; Oleg Avtukh, Deputy Head of the Public Law Enforcement Department of the Lepel Department of Internal Affairs; Natalia Skovorodko, psychiatrist-narcologist of the Lepel Central District Hospital; and Natalia Azaryonok, Deputy Head of the Department for Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the District Executive Committee – Head of the Population Employment Department.

It was noted that this year, over 20 protective orders have been issued, 4 individuals suffering from alcohol addiction have been isolated in therapeutic labour rehabilitation centres, and over 20 citizens have been brought to administrative responsibility for committing domestic violence.

Work with domestic abusers is carried out regularly and is under special control. Today's discussion was quite serious, informative, and, we hope, productive.
