Thus, Tatiana Fedorovich, inspector of the propaganda and public relations sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, told students from the Starolyadenskaya basic school about the activities of the district branch of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers-Firefighters, its structure, goals and objectives, and also acquainted the children with all the events, competitions and rallies held under this aegis.
Thus, Tatiana Fedorovich, inspector of the propaganda and public relations sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, told students from the Starolyadenskaya basic school about the activities of the district branch of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers-Firefighters, its structure, goals and objectives, and also acquainted the children with all the events, competitions and rallies held under this aegis.
The rescuer reminded the students of the basic fire safety rules and actions in case of a fire. The issue of installing and using the mobile application "MChS of Belarus: Help is Nearby" by students was also discussed separately.
Then, the children actively participated in an educational quiz game, during which they received useful prizes for correct answers, and colourful visual materials on fire safety.
Meanwhile, the students from the gymnasium were able to try on the role of a rescuer by visiting fire rescue station No. 1 in the town of Lepel. Here, the children learned more about the rescue service, and got acquainted with rescue equipment and machinery. An unforgettable part of the excursion was that the young gymnasium students were able to practically practice dealing with various emergencies that rescuers face daily.
At the end of the event, the children were presented with membership cards – the young rescuers were initiated into the ranks of the public association.
