A meeting of the commission for assisting in the control of the implementation of legislation on freedom of conscience, religion and religious organizations was held at the district executive committee.

The meeting was attended by commission members, representatives of religious organizations of the district, as well as a representative of the District Department for Emergency Situations, Dmitry Gushchin.

The meeting addressed issues of fire safety compliance in churches, the topic of territory improvement, and the re-registration of religious organizations.

At the conclusion of the event, Svetlana Shevelyova, Head of the Ideological Work and Youth Affairs Department of the District Executive Committee, characterized the religious situation in the district as stable. She noted that the position of local authorities in interfaith dialogue is based on the principles of support and cooperation with historically established traditional denominations, the constant mutual search for common ground, and the development of cooperation mechanisms with religious organizations.
