A meeting of the district commission for emergency situations was held at the district executive committee, with the participation of prevention entities and interested parties.

Issues were considered:
- On the readiness of the management bodies, forces and means of the Lepel district unit of the Vitebsk territorial subsystem of the State System for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations (GCShS) to respond to the negative consequences of the spring flood of 2025;
- On the readiness of the management bodies, forces and means of the Lepel district unit of the Vitebsk territorial subsystem of the State System for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations (GCShS) for the spring-summer fire hazard period of 2025;
- On the dissemination of the plan for the protection of the population and territory of the Lepel district from natural and man-made emergencies;
 - On the state of the electric siren equipment.

Other important issues were also considered. Following the meeting, a number of instructions were formulated for the further work of prevention entities to prevent deaths from external causes.
