A "Vytinanka" exhibition is open at the district local history museum.

This art form was inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Heritage List in 2024.

Vytinanka, as a form of decorative and applied art in Belarusian national culture, originated in the mid-19th century. Belarusians cut out pictures and ornate napkins from white, black, or coloured paper, which were used to decorate home interiors.

Currently, this attractive art is popular, with most Belarusian craftspeople working in the technique of monochrome wytinanka with geometric or floral patterns.
