On November 22, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Br150 billion of budget funds will be directed to the development of the Tolochin district until 2016. This was announced today at a meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee by its Chairman Alexander Kosinets, BELTA correspondent reports.
According to the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, over the period 2013-2015, Br50 billion of budget funds will be directed annually to the socio-economic development of this region. Investments will be directed to the reconstruction of educational institutions, social facilities, the development of the agro-industrial complex, the construction of facilities significant for the district, and the development of trade. A significant part of the investments should be attracted by the district leadership independently, emphasized Alexander Kosinets.
The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee demanded that the district leadership ensure the fulfillment of all socio-economic indicators. Based on the results of 9 months, the district did not fulfill 14 out of 19 main indicators of the socio-economic development forecast (the share of shipped innovative products in the total volume of shipped products, the production of agricultural products in agricultural organizations, the share of costs for the acquisition of machinery, equipment, vehicles in the total volume of investments in fixed assets, the target indicator for energy saving, sales profitability in industry and agricultural organizations, exports of goods as a whole for the territory and excluding oil and oil products and republican organizations). 51.6% of the annual target for the construction of residential buildings (6000 sq.m) has been fulfilled, $2.24 million of foreign investment has been attracted on a net basis (26.3% of the annual target). The balance of foreign trade in goods as a whole for the district and excluding republican organizations was negative. The share of shipped innovative products was 11.2%.
As reported by the Chairman of the Tolochin District Executive Committee, Alexey Gornak, currently, at some industrial enterprises of the district (Kokhanovsky Pipe Plant "Beltrubplast", Kokhanovsky Excavator Plant, JV "Svyatovit", Tolochin Cannery and others), modernization projects and the production of new types of products are being completed, which will allow the region to significantly improve its position in terms of the share of shipped innovative products.
