On June 5, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. A resident of Sennensky district seized a family and killed a young woman, reported to BELTA correspondent the official representative of the Investigative Committee of Belarus for Vitebsk region, Inna Gorbacheva. The previous evening, a pensioner born in 1950, residing in the village of Rulevshchina, broke into the house of his 58-year-old acquaintance from the neighboring village of Staraya Belitsa and began to threaten the villager and his two daughters present in the house with a knife. While holding the people in the house, the man, who was in an inadequate state, made demands to meet with various high-level state administration officials. The 17-year-old daughter of the owner managed to run out of the house and called the police. At 1:30 AM, taking advantage of the attacker's weakened attention, the father of the family was also able to escape. Only his elder daughter, born in 1991, remained in the house. Law enforcement officers and local authorities who arrived at the scene decided to storm the house. As a result, the attacker was detained. The body of the owner's elder daughter with a stab wound was found in the house. A criminal case has been initiated against the man under Part 2 of Article 139 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (murder). The motives for the crime are being established. -0-
