Annually, libraries serve over 13,000 users, issuing more than 240,000 copies of literature.

The book stock of the libraries amounts to over 180,000 copies.

Since 2010, a project has been implemented to organise a mobile service system for sparsely populated and remote villages using a bookmobile. The population of 42 settlements in the Lepel district uses the bookmobile services.

Nine interest clubs operate within the library system, including 5 for children and teenagers, and 4 clubs for adults.

At the central district library, an exhibition titled "The Book – A Connecting Thread of Times" is open for visitors. This is a kind of museum of literary publications, various objects, events, and facts passed down from generation to generation through the main source of knowledge – the book.
