September 8, Minsk /Svetlana Savko - BELTA/. There are currently no unresolved issues with the implementation of the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of Belarus of July 31, 2014 No. 744 "On Remuneration of Labour" . This was announced to journalists today by the First Deputy Head of the Office of the Council of Ministers - Head of the Secretariat of the Prime Minister, Alexander Zabrovsky, BELTA correspondent reports.
Alexander Zabrovsky recalled that detailed recommendations for the implementation of this resolution were provided by the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection. "All issues related to the specifics of production are resolved with the Ministry of Labour in a working manner. The resolution has come into effect, and today it allows us to achieve the main objective of the socio-economic development forecast - the correspondence between labour productivity and wage growth rates. A universal toolkit has been developed that allows us to achieve this main goal, taking into account the specifics of each enterprise," said the representative of the Council of Ministers.
As reported, the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of July 31, 2014 No. 744 "On Remuneration of Labour" stipulates that in state organisations, the growth of nominal accrued average monthly wages of employees is permitted only if labour productivity grows at a faster rate. If this condition is not met, the wage fund for the reporting month is reduced to a level that ensures a ratio of labour productivity growth to wages of at least 1.0.
The norms of the resolution are aimed at organisations not only producing products, goods, works, services, but also at their sale, which will contribute to reducing inventories and increasing organisations' revenues. In this regard, revenue from the sale of products, goods, works, services per average listed employee has been defined as an indicator for determining labour productivity in organisations.
The Government has recommended that all commercial organizations, regardless of their ownership structure, be guided by the principles established by economic theory and the decree.
