A folklore festival was held at Secondary School No. 1, organized by Belarusian language and literature teachers Volha Zaretskaya and Natallya Nazarava. Students from the "Folk Echo" club staged the comedy "Paulyinka" by the classic of Belarusian literature Yanka Kupala. The role of Paulyinka in different acts was performed by ninth-grade students Viktoryia Hrydziushka, Katsiaryna Kosach, Valeryia Hulyanich, and Yuliya Lyashchynskaya; the role of Siarhei Krynicki was played by Radzivon Makhotsin and Mikita Kulba. The characters of the other heroes were portrayed by Karina Yauhenyeva, Siarhei Yakuta, Nastassia Khatskevich, Kiryl Dziemka, and Artur Kulba. The "Echo" club members have repeatedly defended the honor of the Lepel region at various competitions; last year, they performed at the DAL "Zubronak".
