At the Starolyadnya school, 14 schoolchildren from 5 large families received gifts for the start of the academic year from the Lepel District organization of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans.

  The head of the organization, Vasily Pshenko, and activist Larisa Skovorodko personally congratulated the children, as their hearts are still connected to this village. Vasily Konstantinovich went through all the career stages here: from a worker to the head of the farm, and Larisa Vasilievna not only taught but also managed the school. They gladly return to see how the village lives and what traditions are preserved.

  A particularly touching moment was the gift from a girl to Larisa Vasilievna – a small bouquet of wildflowers. This was a pleasant surprise not only for the veterans but also for the other participants of the event.
