In connection with the increase in the number of fires and related fatalities in Lepel District, a decision has been made to conduct a series of preventive measures from August 26 to August 30, 2024.

Throughout the week, prevention entities will conduct awareness campaigns with citizens, paying special attention to lonely and single elderly people, disabled individuals, large families, and persons at risk. They will inspect their homes for fire safety and hold discussions in work collectives, at village meetings, and in educational institutions.

Rescuers will also remind citizens that they are responsible for violating fire safety rules in their households!
