In Tolochin, the renovated premises of the Civil Registry Office have been opened after major repairs.

Sergey Khomenko, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, who attended the ceremony, noted that the state is based on the foundation of family values.

— It is noteworthy that this event took place in the Year of Historical Memory. After all, it begins, first and foremost, in the family, where each of us is proud of our relatives, cherishes their memory and passes it on to children and grandchildren. And the new premises, where joy and kindness reign, I am sure, will be a place that will bring much happiness to people, well-being to families and, as a consequence, will create a foundation for the prosperity of our state, — he remarked.

In turn, Vladimir Terentyev, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, spoke about the importance of this social facility.

– Such wonderful events as starting a family or registering юбилейные dates of joint life, issuing a birth certificate, should take place in good conditions, so that it is not only bright and joyful in the soul, but also beautiful around. And today in Tolochin, we have received very cozy, comfortable premises, the events held in which will truly be remembered for a lifetime, — stated the head of the deputy corps.
As a result of renovation and interior updating, the ceremonial registration hall, the head of department's office, and the archive storage room have acquired a modern look. The corresponding works were carried out by the Republican Unitary Enterprise for Service Provision "BelUrObespechenie", which provided gratuitous assistance.

The honor of being the first to register their marriage in the new hall fell to Dmitry Peshko and Olga Kostyukevich, for whom this significant event will be doubly memorable — the document confirming the creation of the family was presented to them by the Minister of Justice. May you live in peace and harmony, cherish each other and support each other in all situations, wished the newlyweds the abbess of the Holy Protection Convent, Matushka Anfisa.

Unlike Dmitry and Olga, who have only just legalised their relationship, Petr and Yanina Dogel have been walking through life together for 50 years and on this day celebrated their golden jubilee in a solemn ceremony. The jubilarians were presented with a certificate, a gift and flowers by the Chairman of the Tolochin District Executive Committee, Oleg Lyndin.
— Whatever changes may occur in society, the family remains a safe haven for every person, where they draw vital strength and find themselves. Only in a strong family is it possible to raise a worthy generation. And with your strong union, you embody the high ideals of marriage and are a shining example for the youth, — the head of the district addressed them, congratulating them on their significant anniversary.

Also on this day, during a working trip to the Tolochin District, Sergey Khomenko and Vladimir Terentyev highly praised the conditions created for visitors and employees of the "One Window" service of the District Executive Committee, and familiarised themselves with the operation of existing and under-construction facilities on the territory of the Holy Protection Convent.
