In order to prevent violations and reduce the severity of consequences of road traffic accidents involving freight transport, the Traffic Police Department of Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs will be conducting preventive measures in the district from April 10 to April 21.

During this event, traffic police officers will: check the compliance of business entities engaged in commercial cargo transportation and operating more than 10 vehicles with their obligations to ensure road traffic safety and the visual technical condition of vehicles; control the adherence by drivers of vehicles used for cargo transportation to the traffic rules and other acts of legislation in the field of road traffic (including through covert monitoring of specific transportation of bulk cargo and timber).
