Staff will remind pedestrians and cyclists about the amendments to the Traffic Regulations, safety measures at pedestrian crossings, the necessity of using retro-reflective products, as well as the rules of safe conduct when riding bicycles and personal mobility devices.
Enforcement operations targeting accident-prone road sections and unregulated pedestrian crossings are planned. Staff attention will be focused not only on cyclists and pedestrians violating traffic rules, but also on drivers who do not observe speed limits and rules for passing pedestrian crossings.
In case of detecting intoxicated pedestrians and cyclists on the road, the traffic police urge to report their location by calling 102 in order to promptly remove them from the roadway.
