In order to implement the UNEP project "Raising awareness of children and youth about the activities of biosphere reserves using the example of the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve", funded by UNESCO within the framework of the Participation Programme for 2024-2025, a training seminar for children and youth was held.

The seminar took place at the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve and was attended by 60 students from grades 6-10 and teachers from state educational institutions: gymnasiums of Minsk and Lepel. By the way, some of the gymnasiums in Minsk, whose students attended the seminar, are among the UNESCO Associated Schools of the Republic of Belarus and actively participate in global, regional or national projects, competitions or campaigns of the international organization.

Students and teachers from the Domzheritskaya basic school of Lepel district also joined the event.
