Republican campaign "Focus on Children!"

With the aim of drawing public attention to the problem of child injuries and fatalities from fires due to being left unattended, a preventive campaign "Focus on Children!" will be held from August 17 to September 30, timed to coincide with Knowledge Day.

The campaign will be held in three stages:

- Stage 1 – August 17-31. Venue: Central Department Store of Lepel city;
- Stage 2 – September 1-15. Venue: Educational institutions of Lepel district;
- Stage 3 – September 16-30. Venue: Preschool institutions of Lepel district.

Employees of the district department for emergency situations, the department of education, the editorial office of the newspaper "Lepelsky Krai", Lepel district television "Lepel TV", and activists of young firefighter rescuers' clubs will participate in the campaign. In general education institutions, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will conduct thematic "Safety Lessons", make presentations at parent-teacher meetings, and provide briefings for teaching staff. In preschool educational institutions, thematic educational cartoons will be shown to children, and preventive talks will be held with parents.
