On July 9, 2019, a joint meeting of the Presidium of the Lepel District Council of Deputies and the Lepel District Executive Committee, held as part of the Village Council Day, reviewed issues of life support for the population of the Slobodsky Village Council and summarised the work of institutions and organisations ensuring vital activities.
During the plenary session of the Presidium of the Lepel District Council of Deputies, issues concerning the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population in the Slobodsky Village Council territory were discussed, as well as the joint work carried out by the structural divisions of the District Executive Committee and village executive committees on trade and consumer services for the population of the Lepel District.
The following delivered reports: Viktoria Aleksandrovna Mikhno, Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Lepel District of the Vitebsk Region, Chief Physician of the State Institution "Lepel District Centre for Hygiene and Epidemiology"; and Svetlana Mikhailovna Polyachenko, Head of the Economics Department of the Lepel District Executive Committee. Members of the presidium and interested parties also visited socio-cultural facilities, trade service facilities of the Slobodsky Village Council, the Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian in the village of Sloboda, and the Slobodskoye Forestry of the State Forestry Institution "Lepel Forest Management".
