— The weather has been favourable throughout this harvest campaign. I'm travelling in good spirits. The machinery is excellent and well-maintained!
— During such a busy period, every hand is needed. As they say, if you've done your part, help others, — says Pavel Gridjushko with enthusiasm. He is an employee of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, but during the peak season, he lends a hand to his home farm, SUP "Prozhektor-agro".
Our agricultural workers do not distinguish between their own or others' harvest; everyone works towards a common result.
— This year, as in previous seasons, we have done everything possible to grow the grain. And, it must be noted, we have been truly fortunate. Many countries are expecting crop shortages, while our beautiful Belarus remains an island of stability. Thanks to the hard work of our people, we have managed to gather a decent harvest on time.
All people are ready to help and work selflessly on the harvest for the benefit of the crop, — said Natalia Monchik, Chairperson of the district organisation of the Belarusian Trade Union of Agricultural Industry Workers. — Our harvest is nearing completion, so we have the opportunity to help our neighbours. The results of the harvest are the food security of the country, and by helping each other, we increase everyone's contribution to the common bounty of the Republic of Belarus.
— When transporting machinery to the neighbouring region, our agricultural workers bring not only the power of their machines but also invaluable experience and a spirit of camaraderie, — noted Viktoria Podobed, Deputy Head of the Agriculture and Food Department of the Lepel District Executive Committee.
After receiving instructions from Ivan Nadezhko, Head of the Traffic Police Department of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs, and Valery Leshchenko, Chief State Inspector for Technical Supervision of Machinery and Equipment of the Agriculture and Food Department of the District Executive Committee, on strict adherence to the Traffic Rules while travelling to the harvesting site, the machine operators set off.
The receiving farms have created all the necessary conditions for the organisation of work for the arriving combine operators, their accommodation, and meals.
Directors of enterprises and trade union leaders gave parting words to their employees.
