This was reported by Elena Bogdanovich, First Deputy Head of the Main Department for Education of the Regional Executive Committee.– All common areas of educational institutions are equipped with disinfectants, antiseptics, and liquid soap, – noted Elena Leonidovna. – Daily explanatory work is carried out on personal hygiene rules: children and adults should wash their hands as often as possible, door handles, restrooms, and school transport are subject to disinfection, and premises should be ventilated every break. If medical staff detect children with elevated temperatures, they are excused from classes. In preschool institutions, so-called morning filters (temperature, general condition) are under special control. Educational institutions keep daily attendance records and investigate the reasons for absence. It is advisable during this period to refrain from events with mass gatherings of children and adults, including on the sixth school day.
The spring school holidays will not be postponed and will last from March 30 to April 4.
Regarding the desire of some parents to independently arrange a quarantine for their children, according to Elena Bogdanovich, this is their right.
