Immunisation of the population of Lepel district against coronavirus infection has commenced at the Healthcare Institution "Lepel Central District Hospital".

The vaccine used for vaccination is "Gam-COVID-Vac", developed at the N.F. Gamaleya National Research Centre for Epidemiology. It is more commonly known as "Sputnik V". It is a solution for intramuscular administration. It is administered twice, with an interval of 3 weeks. Immunity develops on the 42nd day after the first dose.

Indications for vaccination: prevention of coronavirus infection in adults over 18 years of age.

Vaccination is carried out at the polyclinic daily, except Saturdays.
