In Vitebsk, the results of the project "A Family for Every Child" were presented. The project is implemented with the support of the UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) in Belarus and the Regional Executive Committee.

Lepel specialists also took part in this important event.

Thanks to the project, in less than three years, 360 children who were previously raised in boarding institutions of the Vitebsk region have been placed in families.

The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, noted that the "A Family for Every Child" project has brought together representatives of the authorities, the Children's Fund, education, healthcare, and social protection systems, international experts, foster parents, and representatives of public organizations. It has demonstrated how interdepartmental cooperation helps prevent children from ending up in boarding schools, timely identify families' needs, and provide them with comprehensive support. The roadmap developed within the project will aid further work in this direction.
