The regional stage of the republican legal tournament "The Power of Law" in Vitebsk brought together 15 teams from universities and colleges of the Pridvinye region.
– This is the fourth season of the game, in which students of secondary vocational educational institutions and university students demonstrate their knowledge in the field of law. It is important that the tournament participants are not studying in legal specialties, – noted the regional committee of the BRYU (Belarusian Republican Youth Union). – During the game, young people analyzed legal situations, provided detailed answers to questions on various topics, including the state structure and Constitution of Belarus, legal foundations, history of law, education, youth policy, etc.
According to the results of the tournament, among higher education institutions, the first place was taken by the team of the Vitebsk State Technological University. The Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine team came in second. The Vitebsk Medical University took third place.
Among secondary vocational educational institutions, the first place was taken by the team of the branch of BSTU "Vitebsk State Technological College". The Vitebsk State Medical College named after Academician I. Antonov came in second. Third place was shared by the Vitebsk State College of Electronics and the Vitebsk State Technological College.
