Conditions for holding competitions of the II Games of the CIS Countries were simulated at the Summer Amphitheatre of Vitebsk.
The Head of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism, Sergey Kovalchuk, familiarized himself with the conditions under which the competitions in Thai boxing at the II Games of the CIS Countries will be held, and noted:
- Everything is perfectly prepared, the arena is in excellent condition. The scenario plan for the opening ceremony and awarding of winners – everything has been thought out to the smallest detail. I am very grateful to the people of Vitebsk who were involved in the preparation, and to the Thai boxing federation, and to all the organisers.
Test fights are being held in the ring. Students from the kickboxing and Thai boxing departments of Vitebsk sports schools are participating in them. Artists from the "Vitebsk" Cultural Centre perform during breaks between fights.
Tents have been set up, housing law enforcement officers and other services. In short, the situation for holding competitions has been fully simulated.
